Mr. J. started playing music together in 1999 with three friends Mike
Smith, Russ McClellan, and Jack Hillman. They took their name from
the first letters of each of their first names and played their first live
show at the Barn in Gold Hill Oregon in October of 99 and have
been playing and recording since. They currently have two CD's
released..No Ordinary Moments from 2005 and Cool Revolution 2010.
With Mike Smith writing powerful, meaningful songs, and a three
piece band that packs a punch and sounds like a five piece, they are
definitely a band worth seeing live and owning their CD's. Hailing
